Style I See

When I admire the clothes of someone walking by, I noticed that they are often wearing lots of pieces, like here, for instance. Textured scarf. Two different colors of denim. A leather boot with detail. There is a variety of things here that make the eye "oooh" and "ahhh." I think the best way I recreate this look through my own closet is not to get stuck in the rut of wearing the same clothes combinations. Every time I get dressed, I try and put different pieces together. I don't put on "trusted outfits." I put on "trusted pieces" and make them something entirely new. Be adventurous with what you put together.
Some things are black and white.

No one leans toward classic black or simple white as much as I do. They are clean and classy. But these colors in and of themselves don't always create enough pop. To ensure it's there, think about the texture of the fabric (lace is always nice), tailored fits (know what part of your body you want to emphasize), new cuts (see picture), and flattering shapes (choose one of your best features and let the fabric give you a tight hug there).
